This time we had hard time to discover some Tart Optical dead stocks again. Yes. SOLAKZADE is one of the most important dealers of Authentic Vintage Tart Optical in the world. Tart Optical Enterprises Inc. was a small but legendary maker of eye frames. Founded in NYC in the mid-1940s, and ended in 1970s. James Dean loved Tart Optical's Arnel in 1950s as well as Porsche Car, Lee Denim, Winston Cigarette. Johnny Depp also loves to wear Arnel of Tart. I hear that he loves and respects James Dean so he got interested in Tart Optical Arnel and then he has loved Arnel long time. Arnel is already an icon of not only James Dean but also Johnny Depp.

Today 3 models of CHANEL (late 1990s) got in. Still not uploaded on SOLAKZADE. Just a snap. White Round one is not pictures. This should be the most wanted one of the 3. And the 2 models of the 3 are all that I got for the first time.
Extension of Period (~7/31): SOLAKZADE in GR8 /
GR8 & SOLAKZADE decided to extend the period of "SOLAKZADE in GR8". There are additional vintage sunglasses in, for example JEAN PAUL GAULTIER (~ July 31th.) ご好評につき、期間延長です。
当初は6月20日までの予定でしたが予想を遥かに上回る反響を頂いておりますので、GR8のオーナー久保さんとお話して7月末までイベント期間を延長することになりました。
90年代のジャンポールゴルチェをはじめ、先月にはなかったアイテムも追加しておりますので、皆さん是非お足を運んでみてくださいね。

GR8 is one of the most powerful and high-end select shops in Tokyo Harajuku. They carry Rick Owens, John Galliano, AMBUSH, GIZA, WESC, COLAB eyewear, and more not famous but upcoming designers all over the world. Since June 5th - 20th, a special event named "SOLAKZADE in GR8" is being held.
Yesterday I went to the shop and met customers and the staffs of GR8.
The owner Mr Kubo was one of the starting members of Japanese brand REVOLVER. He is a guy of justice. All staffs are so kind and I've totally loved this wonderful shop.

We restore every vintage eye frame before shipment. The hinges are dirty without restoring. But once restoring, they become like new.

Here are 2 models of 1990s Vintage CHANEL Sunglasses. 01455 & 0026
Though the item numbers are different, the designs are quite the same.
We are not sure about the reason but I think that the 0026 was released in the early 1990s
while the 01455 was made in the late 1990s.
Because the 01455 has "CE" stamp on their arm..
