SOLAKZADE is a boutique specializing in vintage & antique eye wear as you know. But one of our characters is that we carry both "hi-fashion vintage" and "collectable vintage". This Japanese magazine "DAYTONA" is for collectors in Japan and full of playful spirit, which started in June, 1991. Under the direction of Mr. George Tokoro. One of the most famous and popular magazines among middle aged men in Japan. At the latest issue of Jan 2011, there are 2 pages featuring vintage eye wear from SOLAKZADE. 12月6日発売の雑誌「デイトナ」１月号でSOLAKZADEを取り上げて頂いております。「グッと来るビンテージ」という特集内でビンテージカメラ、ビンテージ自転車、ビンテージヘルメット、ビンテージ時計などある中、ビンテージアイウェアの2ページ分でSOLAKZADEのアイテム達が掲載されました。
この雑誌「デイトナ」は所ジョージさん監修のもと1991年6月創刊という長い歴史を持つ雑誌。「車で楽しく遊ぶ」が基本コンセプト。読者の五感に訴えるビジュアルな誌面づくりを展開し、毎号特集ではアメリカンテイストのクルマ、ライフスタイルを提案しています。毎号、大人の遊び心をくすぐる内容が満載で、ビンテージが特集されることも多い雑誌です。
いわゆるファッション誌ではないというのがポイント。流行としてのファッションアイテムではなく、大人の男がドップリハマってしまう中毒性のある新たなジャンルとして「ビンテージアイウェア」をご紹介できてとても良かったと思います。当店はハイファッション・アイウェアとコレクタブル・アイウェアを同時に扱うビンテージアイウェア専門店ですが、コレクタブルつまりオタクな方面での色をもっともっと強めていきたいと考えています。このブログでもディテールについての特集記事など、マニアックで個人的な世界観（フェチズム）をもっともっと披露していければと思います。

Since this week we've renewed our new accessories for each vintage sunglasses & eyeglasses. お待たせ致しました。SOLAKZADEの新たな付属品です。ボックス、サングラスケースそしてレンズを拭くクリーニングクロスの3点セット。全商品（「クラブヴィンテージ」ラインは除く）にこれらが付属します。
There are 2 different sizes of our sunglasses hard case. This one in the photo is the bigger one.
サングラスケースはいまのところ大小2種類あり、ビッグサイズのサングラスにはこのタイプのケースが付属します。アンティークの眼鏡などには小さい方のケースでも中で間隔が空き過ぎるので、もっと小さなケースも早く作りたい。

Vintage Dead-Stock Frames made of Celluloid/12K Gold Filled by American Optical, Bausch & Lomb, Shuron, Titmus, SRO, Imperial Optical, HUDSON, HALO, ROMCO in 1940-1950s.. You can trip to an American optical shop of the days.
This frame is TART OPTICAL ARNEL in Amber color and in 48-22 size. Craftsmen at TART OPTICAL were "shotgun" when they engraved their signature on inside of a temple. Some frames were shot more than 2 times so their engraved marks are "doubly-blurred". I adore this roughness of TART OPTICAL.
